Our fiber jewelry is made with loom waste and nickel free iron. In weaving, loom waste is inevitable. It's the length of yarn that is left over on the loom after the weaving is finished and the fabric is cut off the loom. By making jewelry, we are hoping to reduce our studio waste and reuse it for beautiful, wearable art. Thanks for helping us make our weaving production sustainable! This listing is for one necklace on a 20" iron chain with a lobster clasp closure. The pendant was made by coiling woven fabric around an iron ring. The fabric was cut away from the edges of our autumn infinity scarves.
