The Ivy Trellis Mountaineer Cowl is handwoven using a double bobbin shuttle, combining textured boucle cotton and sleek black Tencel to create a rich, tactile fabric. The black and white shadow plaid warp adds a subtle yet striking backdrop, while the pairing of boucle cotton and black Tencel softens the structure, obscuring the twill weave for a more organic, flowing design. The result is a piece that feels both earthy and refined, with a sophisticated texture that invites touch. Despite its complex, natural aesthetic, the cowl remains versatile and neutral, easily pairing with a variety of outfits. Its timeless design and unique texture make it an elegant, go-to accessory for any occasion.
 
This cowl is handwoven primarily with Tencel, a soft and cooling fiber derived from Eucalyptus wood pulp. The cotton content gives the cloth weight and depth. The cloth is dense and is best suited for spring and fall wear. 
 
Mountaineer Cowls are sewn with a twist. Twisted cowls are both functional and aesthetic. The twist offers an improved fit, versatility, and insulation. It also adds beautiful texture and depth, with versatility depending on how the cowl is adjusted.
