The Nemophila Mountaineer Cowl features an intriguing design that pairs black and white Tencel on a double shuttle, inspired by the delicate dark flecks found on the white blooms of Nemophila. The gentle contrast between the warp and weft creates an enticing visual effect, making the point twill structure appear almost as though it has been carved into the fabric. This unique design not only highlights the artistry of the weave but also adds depth and texture to the piece. This cowl is handwoven with 100% Tencel, a soft and cooling fiber derived from Eucalyptus wood pulp. It is lightweight and suitable for all climates. Its 100% Tencel content gives it a luscious drape, while the double shuttle technique used offers a satisfying weight and density to the cloth.
 
Mountaineer Cowls are sewn with a twist. Twisted cowls are both functional and aesthetic. The twist offers an improved fit, versatility, and insulation. It also adds beautiful texture and depth, with versatility depending on how the cowl is adjusted.
