Resilience I and II are handwoven in 100% Tencel using nine distinct rainbow hues arranged in a precise color gamp. The warp and weft intersect in a systematic advancing twill, creating a structured grid of 81 individual blocks. Each square contains a unique color and pattern combination, the result of deliberate progression and incremental shifts in sequence.
From a distance, the composition reads as ordered and architectural. Up close, subtle diagonal movement and nuanced tonal variation emerge within each block. The advancing twill structure introduces quiet momentum across the surface, allowing the grid to feel both disciplined and alive.
Tencel’s natural sheen amplifies the depth of color and responds beautifully to changing light, giving the surface dimension throughout the day. For best longevity of colors, display this piece away from UV light.
